Corporate magician Joe M. Turner (www.joemturner.com) will kick off the 12th Annual Possible Woman Conference in Atlanta with his special brand of magical inspiration. The Possible Woman Conference, April 21 at the Georgia World Congress Center, also features former White House press secretary Dee Dee Myers and Nicki Keohohou, CEO of Direct Selling Woman’s Alliance and one of America’s Top 30 Female Entrepreneurs.

“Magic Man” Turner, who has been featured on CNN Headline News, Good Morning America and Nightline, possesses a unique combination of real-world corporate experience and exceptional sleight-of-hand skills. This distinctive fusion of talents has made him a top corporate magician.

The Atlanta-based corporate conjuror blends his change management expertise and theatrical background to create unforgettable presentations. As a former executive with Accenture and Bank of America, Turner has years of experience in training, communication and change management. He writes for Genii Magazine, one of his industry’s major periodicals, and is a contributing author to the upcoming book Hyper-Growth.

“Joe is planning a very special, inspirational, magical kick-off for this Possible Woman Conference,” says Linda Wind, president and CEO of Wind Enterprises and a nationally known expert on leadership development. Debuting in 1996, the Possible Woman Conference is presented by Wind Enterprises.

“Once again, Georgia Attorney General Thurbert Baker will join me to welcome the hundreds of women — and a few men — who are participating in this dynamic event,” Wind says.

From a 7:30 a.m. continental breakfast to a 4:45 p.m. Connection Reception, this Possible Woman Leadership Conference is a day packed with dynamic speakers, interactive question-and-answer sessions, well-qualified panels, informative exhibits and exciting networking opportunities.

The luncheon keynote speaker, Dee Dee Myers, is the first woman and youngest person to hold the job of White House press secretary. Author of Why Women Should Rule the World (Harper Collins, 2008), she follows such outstanding speakers as Elizabeth Edwards, Benazir Bhutto, Erin Brockovich, Gail Evans, Geraldine Ferraro, Judge Glenda Hatchett, Mary Matalin, Deborah Norville, Della Reese, Ann Richards and Dr. Betty Siegel.

Closing keynote for the conference will be an energetic presentation by Nicki Keohohou. She will also moderate a panel on Mastering Entrepreneurship: The View from the Top featuring Atlanta entrepreneurs Elizabeth Gordon of Flourishing Business, Ruth King of Ribbon and Conchita Robinson of C Robinson Associates.

Better Mornings Atlanta

Posted by Joe M. Turner | TurnerMagic.com on February 24, 2009

Today’s appearance on the Atlanta CBS affiliate’s morning show sort of came out of nowhere last week. But I wasn’t going to say no to an opportunity!

I improvised the weather forecast idea on the spot after arriving at the venue. It is a further illustration of what I said in the interview — magic can be used to tell another story. Maybe it’s the story of your company’s journey through the last year… or the goals for the coming year… or your employees’ successes… or how your new product will benefit your customers.

Enjoy!
